The family of Joyce
Dangler would like to
share the news of Joyce’s
passing on October 13,
2021. She passed away
at Community Hospital
surrounded by her children
and grandchildren who loved her dearly. She was a
wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister,
and friend. Joyce was born in Fountain, Colorado on
September 6, 1933, to Anna Laura (Bessie) and Jesse
Mc Neely.
Joyce lived in several small towns in Colorado
growing up but met and married her husband, Larry
Dangler, in Grand Junction, CO. They were married
September 30, 1950, and were married 66 years, having
their family in Anaheim, California, and returning to
Grand Junction in 1976.
Joyce was a homemaker providing a wonderful home
for her family of three children, Leta (Wilburn), Larry
Dangler, and Tammie (Dalton) Dangler, all of Grand
Junction, CO. They had eight grandchildren and 19
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry
Dangler; parents, Bessie and Jesse McNeely; sister,
Dorothy, and brother, Earl “Buddy” McNeely.
Joyce lived her life knowing she would be reunited
with her loved ones through Jesus Christ our Lord. We
will be celebrating our beloved Joyce on October 19, at
11:00 a.m., at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
