Obituaries

Eagle Valley Enterprise - 1910

James Thompson died at Glenwood Springs last Monday, after a prolonged illness extending over a year, from a complication of diseases. He has made Eagle his home for a number of years. Last fall his health failed completely and he went to Glenwood for medical treatment. Although the physician announced that his case was hopeless, Mr. Thompson grew better and after several weeks in Glenwood, he returned to Eagle. He spent the greater part of the winter here but early this spring he became worse and was forced to go to Glenwood again where he died as a result of his illness.
Mr. Thompson has many friends here who will regret to learn of his death. He was a widower and leaves one son, Howard, who was with his father at the time of his death.
The remains were interred in the Glenwood cemetery Tuesday afternoon, there being no services.
