Grand Junction Daily Sentinel page 3 D Obituary - February 5, 2017

Born in Grand Junction, to
L. S. and Lucy O’Nan, Fred
spent his childhood here with
nine siblings, and then joined
the Air Force. He was a very
successful buisnessman and a
very happy and content
person.
Fred had endured many
serious accidents; when he
was a teen, it was reported on
the news that he had passed away. It seemed like his life could
be compared to "a cat with nine lives".
Fred was a fun and loving person. He always liked to make
puns out of any happening he had. He enjoyed seeing people get
a shock, or a big laugh out of his fun poking.
Fred had survived many a serious health problems, but with
the help of his wife, Marge, he always seemd to make it
through.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marge; daughter, Cathi
(Chuck) Bowers; brother, Floyd O’Nan; sister, Martha May
Odelberg of Grand Junction, and sister, Arlene Knight of Yuma,
AZ. He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings,
Clifford, Clyde, Lawrence, Curtis, George, and Beth.
