Preliminary autopsy reveals Edwards woman drowned

Autopsy results indicate that the woman whose body was found in Lake Creek Tuesday from drowning.
The victim has been identified as 34 yaer-old Carolyn Barton of Edwards. Her body was found in Lake Creek near Highway 6 Tuesday morning by a pedestrian walking over a nearby bridge.
According to Eagle County Sheriff's Investigator Mike McWilliam, Barton was last seen around [[missing]] p.m. Monday evening, leaving an Edwards bar on a bicycle. She was reported to have been there for several hours. Toxicology results will not be available for a few more days. Investigators aren't sure was caused Barton to lose control of her bicycle. She apparently [[missin]] bridge, and fell about 40 feet into the creek.
McWilliam said there were no signs of damage to her bike that would indicate a collision.
