MRS . HERMAN THOBORG LAID TO REST WEDNESDAY
Mrs . Herman Thoborg passed away at her borne in Eagle last Monday , August 14 , after a short illness . Margaret Dourety was born in Bureau county , Illinois , on April 29 , 1864 . Her early life was spent in the state of Illinois , and as a comparatively young woman she moved from that state to Colorado , frist living in Salida , later in Grand Junction and still later in Aspen . On the 25 th day of December , 1900 , the was married to Herman Thoporg in Aspen . They remained in Aspen until the spring of 1902 , when they moved to Eagle . Herman Thoberg passed on November 19 , 1926 . Mrs . Thoborg was cne of the beloved women of the community . She was a charter member of the Eagle Chapter Order of Eastern Star , and had taken a great interest in the work of that order . Since her husbande death . Mrs . Thoborg has lived a Quiet life , most of the time in her home in Eagle , though fof a short time she lived In Gknwoed Springs and in Engleavood , Colo .
Funeral services , under the direction of the Eastern Star lodge , with the message delivered by Rev . F . V 7 . Casselman of the local Methodist church , was held Wednesday afternoon , and the body WM laid to rest in VaUey View cemetery , beside that of her beloved husband , the Andre Funeral Home having charge of the burial . A large number of friends and old neighbors attended the services , and Joined the cortege which followed the bier to the cemetery , to pay their last respects tc ยป one whom they considered a good friend .
