Sally Ann (Pixler) Hall July 19, 1933 – November 8, 2012
After a long battle with cancer, Sally passed away at the age of 79
in her home, surrounded by family. She was born to Richard
"Ronald" and Lillian Pixler in Cripple Creek, Colorado where
she lived until moving to Grand Junction with her family. She
married Albert A. Hall June 12, 1950, and raised two sons.
Sally retired from Mt. Bell Telephone Company to spend more
time with her family. After her husband's death, she volunteered
for the America Red Cross and worked at the local Bingo Halls.
Her husband; mother and father; granddaughter, Mariah Marie
Hall; four sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
She is survived by her two sons, David (Marie) Hall, of Fairb anks
Alaska; John Hall of Grand Junction; grandchildren, Mike (Devan )
Hall, Sherry (James) Alberts, and Ashley and Kara Hall, and
great-grandchildren, Trevor and Samantha Alberts.
The family would like to thank all of the nurses, doctors and other
health care professionals that took care of her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorial contributions to
be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado,
3090B North 12th St. Grand Junction 81506 in the name of Sally
Hall.
