Walter “Walt” Nichols, 70, Fruita, died June 16, 2012, in
Fruita.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Martin Mortuary. Services
will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki; five sons, David Nichols of Firestone,
Larry Nichols of Castle Pines, Bobby Easter of Montrose,
Sean Easter of Beaverton, Ore., and Joe Easter of Grand Junction;
five daughters, Linda Stoddard of Whitewater, Dawnette Woodard
of Clifton, Barbara Reed of Hillsboro, Ore.; Naomi Easter of Hillboro
and Rene Easter of Fruita; three sisters, Mildred Wilkinson of
Grand Junction, Shirley Bruegerman of Loma and Hattie Bishop
of Sonora, Calif.; 25 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
