Steamboat Today - September 27, 2009

Dustin Dahlin, 36, passed away on Sept. 16 as a result of a one-car accident.
He was born on Oct. 10, 1972, and lived in Spokane, Wash., before moving to Steamboat Springs in 1991, where he worked as a waiter and bartender at the Holiday Inn. He was an integral part of developing the businesses of Grease Monkey in 1997 and Big O Tires in 2002 with his stepfather and mother.
He became the face of Grease Monkey and Big O Tires, where he greeted customers with a caring attitude and bright smile.
Dustin was a skier, traveler, baseball fan and hiker. He is survived by his wife, Kori; stepchildren, Wyatt and Morgin; mother, Roberta Rundell; stepfather, Bob Rundell; stepsisters, Julie Gallagher, Cathy Reynolds and Cindy Rycknan; and two half-sisters, Gina and Morgan Dahlin.
A celebration of his life was held at the Methodist Church on Saturday.
