An annual festival celebrating the peach harvest of Palisade, Colorado. It was established in the late 1800's as Peach Days, and is ongoing. According to oral history interviewee Virgil Hickman, Peach Festivals in the first half of the Twentieth century were "almost a fair", with dances on fruit shipping platforms, a Peach Queen, and displays.
