He owned and operated the Red Rock ranch and the Daggett store in Gypsum until 1897, when he went to Fulford, as postmaster and store operator. ..Later he was employed in the Eagle river canon. ... In 1891 he started publication of the Holy Cross Trail, and continued the publication of that paper until 1940."...
