Man and girl standing on the boardwalk under the roof overhang of the Owens Store (the original Avon Store) in Avon, Colorado. Advertising signs: "Hills Bros. Coffee," chocolates, visible. Screen door is open; front door closed. Could be either snowing or raining. The store was located 100 feet west of the Avon Road on the north side of Highway 6. Avon Amusement Center on left side of Hwy 6. Building was destroyed in c1948 when Hwy 6 was widened. Avon General Store on right (view is looking south to Beaver Creek) Store destroyed c1980.
