Ida Oyler Herwick, wife of Josiah Herwick. She became a member of Pacific Circle, Women of Woodcraft, Circle No. 132 at Eagle, Colorado, on Dec. 16, 1898. She and her husband homesteaded the J over J Ranch north of Wolcott (now the 4 Eagle Ranch). The story of their early days establishing the ranch was written by their daughter, Sallie Welsh Hartman, and is titled "Early Days in Eagle County" [RARE 978.844 H3331].

In Gypsum he met and married Rosamund M. Skiff on Dec. 11, 1895, and the couple spent their married life together in Eagle and Garfield counties."

Muriel Colburn and her mother, Alice George Colburn. "Muriel worked in Washington, D.C., and was employed for many years by the Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorder's Office and the Social Security Office in Denver. She retired in 1971." [obituary] SHe passed away at 95, on Dec. 14, 1997.
