Leo Edwin Oberto was born in Telluride, Colorado, on May 17, 1902 to Gio Oberto and Henrietta Gallon Oberto. He had one brother, Silvio "Dutch", born in 1904.
On May 29, 1926, Leo married Emma Nardin, and they had a baby girl "Josephine" that died shortly after. They also had a son--Edwin Leo Oberto (born 12/25/1928, died 07/02/2008).
Leo died June 23, 1977, at the age of 75.
